Early and extremely desirable Tudor blue dial “Snowflake” Submariner with date, ref# 9410/0 serial number 799,xxx circa 1973. An extremely nice condition example Tudor Snowflake with beautiful original matte blue dial with fully intact original square luminous indexes and original “snowflake” hands. An exceptionally nice condition all original dial, without surface irregularities that are common on most early Tudor subs. With all original cream color tritium luminous indexes and with matching original lume hands. Note some aging of the hour and minute hand close to the center post.
With very pleasing evenly faded blue insert. The insert is free of scratches, chips, or defects and is a perfect match in tone and saturation to the blue of the dial.
Featuring beefy lugs, possibly previously polished, The case is free of corrosion, the ref # and serial # are clear and easily readable. Fitted with a later Rolex signed 78360 heavy Oyster bracelet with 558 end pieces and with B date code which corresponds to 1977.
