Scarce and terrific looking bulbous saucer shaped case Tissot Sonorous T12 alarm ref# T12 40512. Featuring a thick rounded 44mm diameter stainless steel super compressor design case with 3 crowns. Powered by AS 1930 caliber movement with sweep seconds, date and alarm feature. Bottom crown for setting the time and winding, upper crown for alarm setting, and crown at 11 0’clock for inner minutes scale.

Distinctive and dramatic in its post modern graphics, with oversized raised hour indexes, bold red alarm hand and colorful bright green diamond shaped sweep hand. With signed original crowns and with original Gays Frères signed bracelet with deployment clasp.  Case, dial, hands, crowns, crystal, bracelet, movement, all in excellent condition. Recently serviced, all functions operating well, and offered with our 1 year warrantee of accurate time keeping and operation. Tissot produced several variations of the T12 in this era, notably the T12 Chronograph, which is Paul Newman-esque version, the T12 Navigator, a dual time zone model, and the current, rarely seen Sonorous alarm model. In our opinion, this is a beautifully proportioned, beefy, and stylish execution.
