A very pleasing example “meters first” vintage Rolex stainless steel no date Submariner ref 5513 circa 1968. Featuring a 40mm diameter case with bi-directional elapsed time bezel, domed acrylic crystal, and screw down early twin lock Oyster crown. With very pleasing all original matte black “meters first” dial with nicely patina’d ivory color luminous tritium dots and matching hands. With later thin font elapsed time insert, and aged pip.

Powered by self winding caliber 1520 movement with sweep seconds. Fitted with later Rolex stainless steel heavy Oyster bracelet with flip lock clasp. Recently serviced, guaranteed genuine, in excellent mechanical condition, and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate timekeeping and operation.

This is a very pleasing example and the first 5513 we have had in quite some time. The case is previously polished, but retains its beefy lugs. The case shows no corrosion and the case reference # and serial #s are all sharp and distinct. The case back threads are sharp and neither worn down or damaged. Overall a very nice example and thousands of dollars less than this watch would have been priced just a few short years ago!
