The watch was little worn and is in truly superb condition. It is complete with inner and outer box, sleeve, your Oyster and Submariner booklets, warranty papers, polishing cloth, even the Submariner anchor. This set further includes a xerox copy of a 1998 published article on the universal appeal of a Rolex watch, with a sentimental  message from Mom & Dad dated late December 1998.

The SWISS only signature on this model designates the introduction of bright glow luminova, introduced in 1998 replacing tritium. The SWISS only signature is relatively scarce, as it was a  2 years only variation, until 2000 when the Luminova formula was changed to Super Luminova, and the associated designation of SWISS MADE at the 6 o’clock dial location.
