Complete with original Rolex warranty papers, chiseled top Rolex box, and in addition the especially rare early full size chronometer certificate with hand recorded results of rigorous testing of the movement under the requisite position, temperature, and isochronism conditions over a 15 day testing period.

This fine and well documented vintage time piece is powered by calibre 1570 self winding movement with sweep seconds and date. With period rolled link Jubilee bracelet ref# 6251H with #55 end pieces and period deployment clasp with date code for 1967. NOTE on CHRONOMETER CERTIFICATES: Later chronometer certificates did not provide all the detailed results as shown on the accompanying certificate. The next generation was a simpler document certifying the accompanying time piece passed the chronometer level time keeping standards. Subsequently, only representative samples of a caliber were submitted for chronometer approval, with all the examples from that class of movements assigned chronometer status, and fitted with a plastic chronometer hang tag.
