Rolex Stainless Steel/14K YG Datejust ref 16014 serial #8.1 million circa 1983 with great looking original white so called “Buckley” dial. Featuring a 36mm diameter full size man’s Oyster case with fluted yellow gold bezel and acrylic crystal and with mint condition snow white dial with black Roman numerals and correct black hands and nicely patina’d luminous dots. Powered by self winding caliber 3035 movement with quick set date and sweep seconds.
This period dial arrangement has been nicknamed the “Buckley Dial” in honor of our friend John Buckley of NYC. Recently fully serviced by one of our veteran watchmakers and is accompanied by our 1 year warranty of accurate timekeeping and operation. Fitted with a black crocodile strap for a sophisticated look that highlights this beautiful dial.
