An early, rare, and fine condition Rolex Datejust, ref 6305 serial # 99,xxx circa 19565. With original silver dial that has taken on a beautiful and even gold patina with the smallest of dotting across the surface. Featuring a 36mm diameter stainless steel and 14K yellow gold case with finely milled bezel, and acrylic dome crystal. The dial features raised, gold triangular indexes, tapered alpha hands, with gilt date frame, and signed SWISS. Powered by self winding chronometer rated calibre 745 self winding movement with sweep seconds and date, and with original early + logo screw down crown. NOTE: As shown in the photos, the original dial shows patina and aging. The dial is entirely original and there has been no cleaning, or other attempts to improve the condition of the original dial. As such there is slight degradation to the 12 o’clock text. Though along with that we see the original red printing of the word “Datejust” has faded to a beautiful brick color.
