Offering an extremely desirable example vintage Rolex “Red” Submariner ref 1680 serial # 3.4 million circa 1972. With a beautiful condition matte black dial with richly patina’d luminous indexes and matching luminous hands, which have recently been professionally re-lumed, also featuring the famous bold red Submariner printing. Featuring a 40mm diameter case with bi-directional bezel, acrylic crystal. The dial is in great condition with a very clean, unmarred surface, nicely patina’d luminous plots, and still bright red Submariner printing. Trip lock screw down crown, bezel insert of the period and presumed to be original. The case has been professionally detailed, with thick beveled lugs and clean lug holes.

Powered by calibre 1570 chronometer rated self winding movement with sweep seconds and date. The chronometer rated caliber 1570 movement is in excellent operating condition and keeping good time.
