Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ref 1500 serial # 3.1 million circa 1972. Featuring a 34mm diameter stainless steel case with smooth bezel and distinctive original black dial. The matte black dial features gently tapered applied silver indexes, while the dial is printed with “gilt” silver print. The lume plots are all fully intact and have aged to a light cream color.

The watch is powered by self winding calibre 1570 movement with sweep seconds and date. Completed with period folded link Oyster bracelet with deployant clasp and bearing the date code 1972. The case and bracelet have been previously polished. The bracelet is in 75% condition, typical for the era, and will fit up to a 7 1/2″ wrist.
