A special Rolex Oyster Perpetual 14K YG ref 1005 circa 1963 in mint condition with scarce underline dial. Featuring a 34mm diameter Oyster case with screw down crown and case back, fine milled bezel, acrylic crystal, and original pristine condition original silver satin dial with tapered gold applied indexes and tapered alpha hands. This is a transitional model with the dial signed SWISS but with a subtle “underline” printed below the SCOC writing, which indicates that the luminous material is tritium and not radium. The luminous plots on the dial remain intact and have aged to a warm patina. The original aged lume of the hands also remain intact with no loss or cracking evident.

Powered by chronometer rated Rolex calibre 1560 self winding movement with sweep seconds. Recently fully serviced and the case left unpolished as acquired.
