An extremely attractive example transitional model Rolex SS/14K YG “Rootbeer” GMT ref 16753 circa 1985. Featuring a fine condition probably unpolished case with beefy lugs, acrylic crystal, and with an especially bright and lively original “rootbeer” dial. This is one of the last of the nipple dial models for this reference before the introduction of the next generation dial with larger lume plots and gold surrounds.
The dial is in beautiful condition, with warmly patina’d tritium lumes and with original closely matching original tritium lume hands. With an aged 2 tone bronze and gold bezel insert with warm and gentle brown tones. Complete with a fine condition and very tight original 62523H SS/18K YG D link Jubilee bracelet with 450 endpieces and deployant clasp.
