A great looking example transitional model Rolex GMT ref 16750 circa 1984. Featuring a robust, beefy lug, possibly unpolished case with cream color tritium lume “spider” dial and matching original tritium lume hands. The dial is further distinctive as the scarce no DATE version, lacking the word DATE following the OYSTER PERPETUAL print on the dial. With a red and blue Pepsi bezel insert, possibly a later replacement, and original D link Jubilee bracelet with deployant clasp.
An attractive and desirable example reference, this example unique with its one of a kind spider dial and absence of DATE printing. Dial is otherwise free of hand drag, oil stains, spotting, or any detractions, and with pleasing untouched lume plots and hands. A popular collector models, in great condition and with terrific eye appeal.
This is the short lived transitional model introduced in 1981 that followed production of the 1675 GMT model but with an upgraded quickset 3075 movement and with acrylic crystal. When the GMT II model was introduced in 1989, with independently set hour hand, the 16750 model was then fitted with a sapphire crystal, and renamed the GMT 1 with ref 16700. The earliest example model 16750’s continued the matte finish dial as seen on the 1675s, while later models like the current example feature a gloss black dial with white gold lume plot surrounds.
The current example is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. Currently being serviced, guaranteed genuine and will be offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation. Your watch purchase includes one of our fine signature leather watch pouches, great for storage and travel, a $65.00 value.
