Very late production vintage Rolex Explorer 1 ref 1016 serial # 9.0 million circa 1985. Featuring a 36mm diameter case with smooth bezel, acrylic crystal, and original very pleasing condition matte black dial with lightly patina’divory color original tritium luminous indexes and closely matching original tritium luminous hands. Powered by calibre 1570 self winding chronometer rated movement with hack feature. With Rolex SS heavy Oyster bracelet 78360 with 580 end pieces and with deployment clasp.

An extremely pleasing example of this popular and elusive model, with heavy lug, previously polished case, original dial free of any defect, scratches, water marks, hand dragging, or any other flaws. Note: bracelet shows some looseness associated with age and use. Case and bracelet left unpolished as found, but bracelet can be polished on request.
