Rolex stainless steel “SWISS” only Explorer 1 ref# 14270, P4 serial # circa 2000. This model marks the shortest production run of the Explorer 1 models. The “SWISS” only dial designated the introduction of luminova as the luminous material for the dial and hands in 1988.This variation survived for only 2 years until 2020 with the introduction of Super Luminova and the designation of “SWISS MADE” at the bottom of the dial.
This is the 36mm full size man’s model with smooth bezel and sapphire crystal and original glossy black original 3/6/9 Explorer SWISS only luminova dial and hands.
Powered by calibre 3000 self winding movement with sweep seconds and date. With Rolex stainless steel heavy Oyster ref 78790 bracelet with 558B end pieces, AB7 date code and newer style short flip lock clasp.
