Featuring a 36mm diameter case with checkerboard bezel, domed acrylic crystal, and period refinished dial with distinctive dagger shaped applied indexes, tapered alpha hands, and with original alternating red and black roulette date wheel. The case back bears the date code of IV/57 which places production of this model to the 4th quarter of 1957. With original period rolled link Jubilee bracelet with original early logo clasp and matching 4/57 date code.

Powered by self winding chronometer rated 25 jewel calibre 1065 self winding movement with sweep seconds and date. Recently serviced and in excellent operating condition. Fitted with a dome non cyclops crystal for a clean look without the obtrusive date magnifier.

This is an amazing early example Datejust model, lacking only a great original dial which would probably double the value of this watch. The case, bezel, and bracelet are all in amazing condition.
