Vintage Rolex Daytona ref 6263 serial # 3.9 million circa 1975 with black tachometer bezel and original silver satin “Sigma” dial warmly patina’d luminous dots and with subtle color change registers. The black registers of this dial have developed a fine purplish hue, which is an unusual and desirable feature of this dial.

This reference 6263 model is distinguished by screw down chronograph pushers, black lacquer tachometer bezel, original matte silver dial with contrasting purplish toned black registers. With intact nicely patina’d luminous dots. The Sigma designation at the bottom of the dial references white gold dial indexes and hands and is a scarce and desirable characteristic on this model.

A very nice condition example, with beefy lugs, good condition bakelite tachometer bezel with some surface abrasions less evident on the wrist than in these high def photos, and with very pleasing original subtle color change dial.
