This is the first generation automatic Daytona model, now both a wearable and collectible model, particularly the current example which is complete with all original box, papers, booklets, and hang tags. This is the so called “Zenith” Daytona model which used the Zenith self winding movement, before the introduction of the Rolex movement in model ref 116520. Featuring a 39mm diameter case with steel tachometer bezel and sapphire crystal. With original gloss white dial with tritium luminous bar indexes and luminous baton hands. With Rolex stainless steel heavy Oyster 78390 bracelet with 503B end links and short flip lock clasp.
