Rolex 18K YG Daytona ref 6265 serial # 6.2 million circa 1979/1980. Very desirable example 37mm diameter case with screw down pushers, gold tachometer bezel, and featuring a very desirable original matte black dial with gold registers. Powered by a 17 jewel chronometer rated calibre 727 manual wind movement, and fitted with 18K YG riveted link 7205 Oyster bracelet with heavy 57B end pieces and deployment clasp.
A very nice condition example of this scarce and desirable vintage manual wind Daytona. Original matte black dial reads Rolex Oyster Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified, and Cosmograph. Dial signed T SWISS T. Dial in exceptionally nice condition without any fading, scratches, water damage or discoloration. All original lumes intact, with some aging evident. With very clean chronometer rated 727 movement in excellent working condition. Trip lock crown, 3rd execution tachometer bezel and 3rd execution screw down pushers. With excellent condition 18K YG 7205 bracelet with heavy end pieces marked 57B on inner edge. Caseback marked 6263. Serial # of 6.2 million dates this model to 1979/1980. With clean and clear ref # and serial # as shown in photos.
