Rare Jaeger Lecoultre stainless steel Polaris II circa 1970s with “cranberry” bakelite bezel and dial. This is a large and scarce diver’s model, more typically found with turquoise blue bezel and dial. The current example features rich and beautiful dark cranberry colors with contrasting antique luminous indexes and hands. The watch appears to be barely worn and is in magnificent condition. Featuring a self winding calibre 916 movement with sweep seconds and date. Signed JLC crowns for setting the date and time and the alarm function. With the original JLC signed NSA bracelet with folding clasp.
