Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, ref 145.0022/3570.50 “Tritium”, movement serial # 48.3 million circa 1996, with great vintage style dial. Featuring a 42mm diameter stainless steel case with black tachometer bezel, acrylic crystal, and original matte black dial with all intact aged tritium luminous indexes and hands. Interestingly, the tritium lumes did not age to the pleasing tan color; Omega produced the tritium model with the more vintage color lume, certainly recognizing the popularity of the vintage look to Speedy enthusiasts!
Powered by caliber 1861 manual wind 3 registers chronograph. Caseback signed “FLIGHT-QUALIFIED BY NASA FOR ALL MANNED SPACE MISSIONS”, and “THE FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON”, and with the Hippocampus logo. With associated Omega signed bracelet and deployant clasp, which will fit a 7 inch wrist.
This watch is in exceptional condition, the case and bracelet appearing to be in unworn, condition, with original brushed finish lug edges, high polish tops of lugs, bezel free of any nicks or abrasions, appearing totally unworn.
