An exceptionally mint condition example Omega Speedmaster Man on the Moon ref 145.0022/345.0022 movement serial # 48.3 million circa 1997. Featuring 42mm diameter case with pristine black tachometer bezel, original Omega logo hesalite crystal, and original matte black dial with beautiful tan luminous tritium indexes and hands. Dial signed T SWISS MADE T designating the luminous material as tritium. This particular watch fits in right at the end of production on this reference. This is actually the very last Speedmaster to feature a tritium dial, the end of a long and storied era.
Powered by the famous 18 jewel, manual wind, 3 registers chronograph, caliber 861. Caseback signed “FLIGHT-QUALIFIED BY NASA FOR ALL MANNED SPACE MISSIONS”, and “THE FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON”, also with the Hippocampus logo. With associated Omega signed bracelet and deployant clasp, which will fit a 7 1/2 inch wrist.
This watch is in unpolished, and frankly what appears to be in unworn condition. It was just serviced and is now being offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate timekeeping and operation.
Your watch purchase will include in our fine glazed leather WBAW? watch pouch. Great for travel or storage. A $55 value! See photo.
