A scarce and fine example modernist design Omega man’s dress model ref 135.011 circa 1969. Featuring a 34.5 x 40mm gold shell top and stainless steel back case with extended lugs and screw down case back. With low dome Omega logo acrylic crystal and original matte black dial with aged green luminous batons and white printed minute indexes. Featuring white printed Omega name and red printed logo, red printed cross hairs pattern and thin gilt, luminous baton hands.
This is a fine example of a technical dial, found in several variations on the reference # Omega. The dial has prominent elongated seconds indexes easily read against the long sweep seconds hand.at each of the 60 second locations. It is likely that this dial configuration was intended for either technical or medical purposes. The matte dial surface is in excellent condition, with fully intact printing, smooth all original matte black dial surface, and original aged tritium lume plots.
Powered by 17 jewel manual wind caliber 600 movement with sweep seconds and signed Omega crown. Shown with complementary textured surface leather strap with contrasting stitching.
Recently fully serviced In excellent operating condition. Offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation. An attractive modernist design vintage dress model.
An interesting, perhaps esoteric side note, is that the serial # of this example is 22 digits away from the last identical example we had of this model. This would suggest that this appealing dial configuration was a specific and time limited run of this model.
Your purchase includes our signature fine leather pouch, ideal for travel and storage, a $65.00 retail.
