A striking design and fine condition oversize Omega Constellation ref # 153.042 28 circa late 1960’s. Featuring a brutalist design thick 8mm, 28 x 42mm slab shaped 18K YG case, with original raised and beveled edge smoky mineral glass crystal. With original champagne dial with fine waffle pattern texture and refined modernist indexes and hands. The dial is signed above the center post Constellation with the Omega logo and below with Omega Chronometer Automatic. The very bottom of the dial bears the letters OM, for the French “Or massif” which indicates the dial is solid gold.

Powered by self winding caliber 712 movement. With unique original tiger’s eye cabochon crown.

This is a model we have never owned before. It is a large and impressive piece. The thick slab design is softened at the top and bottom with a radius curve. The watch is without chips or scratches to the crystal, discoloration of the dial or fading of the printing, and is free of any personalized engraving.

We have fitted this impressive piece with an unbranded fine leather strap and tang buckle. In excellent operating condition and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.
