Movado stainless steel 30.5 X 37.5mm stepped bezel case field watch with angled lugs circa 1940s. Featuring a beautiful condition original dial with applied Breguet style numerals, center bulls eye design, and center sweep hand with red tipped arrow.

Powered by caliber 470 manual wind movement. With original Movado mushroom style crown, and screw down case back. Once again we mention that it was unusual in this era for military style watches to have center sweep hands. We note the engraving of the case back, Dr R.E. Risbrudt. While we cannot confirm this, the owner of the watch being a physician, and the watch having distinct numerals and a prominent red arrow tipped sweep seconds, lends credence that the watch was selected with careful consideration to the owner’s occupation.
