A fabulous looking Lord Elgin “Shockmaster” YGF circa 1950’s. Very distinctive design, large for the era 32 x 40mm round case with pronounced horn lugs and wide bezel with narrow grooved design, sloping down to meet those fantastic elbow shaped lugs. With original turned “tropical” dial with an eye catching vinyl “LP” record engraved texture and with modernist applied indexes. With tapered gilts hands and subsidiary seconds hand. Powered by 21 jewel manual wind movement. With your choice of fine or sporty leather strap. Recently serviced and detailed and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.
We affectionately refer to this model as the “LP” Elgin, a tribute to the 33RPM or 78RPM record albums of the pre digital era, with distinctive grooves for the record stylus. A great looking vintage man’s model for a man’s or a woman’s wrist.
