Vintage man’s medium sized Longines stainless steel manual wind dress model circa 1937. Featuring a 28.5 x 37mm heavy case with screw down case back with curved extended lugs, acrylic crystal, and oversize crown. With a very desirable original technical dial featuring “wrapping” black raised Arabic hour markers, with a double outer track, one for minutes, and a more detailed sweep seconds track. Dial further features the popular cross hairs pattern, and original blued steel leaf hands. As shown in the photos, the dial shows some spotting and aging consistent with an 80 year old watch. Powered by the Longines manual wind calibre 11L movement with center sweep seconds. The movement number of 5.6 million dates production of this watch to approximately 1937. This watch takes a 16mm strap.
