Powered by caliber 9L manual wind movement with subsidiary seconds. A large for the era, especially mint condition model, fitted with a new crocodile strap, a plaque Longines logo tang buckle, with original logo crown, and complete with original Longnes presentation box.

This is an especially mint condition example, showing little wear and left unpolished as acquired. The watch has been fully serviced and only ultrasoniced to brighten the gold without abrasion. The original box has a further surprise. The inside pad is designed to be convertible for displaying a watch fitted to a strap, or alternatively when turned over, exposing a cuff, to showcase the watch with a stretch bracelet. Additionally, upon lifting out this pad, a message is printed on the inside of the box that reads: “A Double Duty Box to hold Jewelry Studs Cigarettes.” Quite an ingenious and versatile design in a wrist watch box!
