This is the very popular small lady’s size 18K YG Panther circa 1980s/1990s with scarce “Art Deco” style bracelet with hidden deployant clasp. With fine condition original silvered dial with classic Cartier black Roman figures, sapphire crystal, blued steel epée hands, and with sapphire cabachon setting crown.

This is a very nice condition preowned example that has been recently detailed. It is free of scratches or dings and the original dial is in fine condition without darkening around the edges as is often seen on these models. The watch is powered by convenient and accurate battery powered quartz movement.

The panther was a much sought after classic model for close to two decades until the introduction of the Tank Francaise model, and later the Roadster and Ballon Bleu. The original Panther model has had a resurgence in popularity in the last few years associated with the re-introduction of the new heavier case and bracelet design Panther.
