A scarce and extremely beautiful first execution Heuer Autavia ref# 2446C, a much sought after version of the famous chronograph, produced from 1968-1971. The 2446C features a robust 40mm case, with large, beveled edge lugs, snap down (C for compression) signed case back, pump chronograph pushers, and Heuer signed crown. Featuring the popular black and silver aluminum tachometer bezel, with large silver triangle at 12. The dial is an extremely clean matte black reverse Panda dial, with applied steel hour markers, three oversized matte silver sub dials, and tritium inlaid hands.
This Autavia is powered by the celebrated Valjoux 72 caliber movement. The movement was recently fully serviced by one of our veteran watchmakers, and is offered with our one year warranty of accurate timekeeping and operation. The 2446C is shown on a 20mm sporty leather strap or your choice of straps from our extensive selection.
This is an especially clean example of this classic model. Acquired recently from an extensive collection of fine vintage watches. We are pleased to be able to offer such a fine example.
