Abercrombie & Fitch stainless steel manual wind chronograph made by Heuer, circa late 1950’s. Featuring a 36mm stainless steel case with waterproof screw down caseback, stepped bezel, and small “micro” pump pushers. Powered by the not yet at the time, but soon to be famous Valjoux 72 manual wind 3 registers movement. This ref 2444 is in super condition, with beautiful condition original dial, lumes, markers, and hands.
Original bright silver dial signed Abercrombie & Fitch, with large chronograph registers, luminous filled gold dauphine hands, and a wonderful mix of painted triangle and applied gold bar hour markers. An extremely rare and fine, early example by this popular retailer.
