A scarce and especially desirable and super condition example Hamilton Thin-O-Matic asymmetrical case model T-403 designed by Richard Arbib, designer of the famed Hamilton Ventura model and creator of the most futuristic Hamilton watch company designs of the 1960’s. An extremely clean condition example of this futuristic assymetical design model. Apparently this date model was a European market model only, with the more familiar no date model produced for the U.S. market. While we usually favor non date versions of vintage watches, this model with date somehow has more impact and presence (and maybe it is a little bigger or thicker) than the more common non date versions. And unlike the battery powered Hamilton electric models, this model powered by self winding caliber 64 will be a reliable timekeeper for now and future generations. A super cool model and in spite of our long relationship with classic Hamilton models, this is the first of this model we have ever owned.
