Featuring a great condition robust and architectural design 34 x 43.5mm case with wide stepped bezel, and distinctive flared and faceted lugs, and with screw down stainless steel case back. The case back is signed Waterproof, and Shock Resistant, hence the model name, and ready to withstand any storm!

Like all Hamiltons of the 1930’s through the 1950’s, this model reflects the quality of this American brand. With a sterling silver (not brass) dial, 18K YG (not plated) dial indexes, and high quality Hamilton caliber 735 manual wind 18 jewel movement with sweep seconds. The watch further retains its original signed and recessed crown.

Featuring a stunning matte silver dial with applied 18K YG numbers, a stunning silvered “pearl” sweep seconds track, and unusually reduced size donut shaped indexes. While the indexes are subtle, the model features wide kite shaped luminous hands and sweep seconds arrow tip. Unusual for a dress watch of this era to have a hybrid of applied gold and luminous indexes, and such stylized sport style hands.

The case back bears the hand engraving of the original presentation. The presentation reads TODD, from DAD & MOTHER. Even if your name is not Todd, this watch is a perfect vintage time piece to complement your fashionable casual or dressy attire.
