Great looking and scarce vintage Hamilton man’s reverso model circa 1938. This model is called the “Otis” and no doubt was Hamilton’s take on the popular Lecoultre reverso model that predates it.  Produced for a very short period of time beginning in 1938 and subject to a brief production run likely due to  infringement on Jaeger Lecoultre’s trademark for the Reverso design.

Featuring a medium size 23 x 40mm 14K YGF case in very good condition. Note some brassing on the highest points. We have not attempted to polish, or replate the case. As with most of these models, the current example has been artfully hand engraved with the owner’s initials. The reverso mechanism operates well, and the sliding case is secure whether in the dial exposed, or in the covered position.

Featuring a most likely original silver dial with applied 18K YG Breguet style numerals. Note some mild staining at the 5 o’clock numeral.
