This is the longest and most desirable of all Gruen curvex models from the pre World War II, Art Deco design era. NOTE: As expected of a watch of this design and era, the gold filled case shows some wear on the high points, but is in overall very good condition and without wear through commonly seen on the bottom side of the lugs. Gruen watches were considered American watches, produced at their massive factory at Gruen Hill, Cincinnati, Ohio, with movements produced and imported from Switzerland.
