A terrific looking Swiss made chronograph circa 1970. While the name Dugena may not be so familiar to American collectors, there’s no mistaking this watch for a “plain Jane” model. Prior to WWII this Swiss brand was known as Alpina, a name perhaps more familiar to collectors. Featuring a 42.5 x 47mm cushion shaped case with screw down back, round pump pushers, acrylic crystal and simply terrific looking 3 register dial layout and color palette. Powered by 17 jewel manual wind Valjoux 7736 movement with registers for minutes, hours and constant seconds. With low profile, nicely integrated elapsed time bezel.
Overall a super “tight” and compact “chunky” design watch. Shown here with a complementary colors NATO style strap. Super shape condition case as is the dial, hands, printing and bezel. The case appears to be never polished, little worn, and free of nicks, dings, or scratches, and with clean case back.
In excellent mechanical condition, guaranteed genuine, and offered with our 1 year warranty of a accurate time keeping and operation.
