A scarce and fabulous looking CWC (Cabot Watch Company) manual wind chronograph ref. 0552/924-3306 for the British Royal Air Force circa 1970s. Featuring a 39mm non reflective brushed finish stainless steel case, acrylic crystal, and matte black dial with tritium lume markers and distinctively wide tritium hands. The dial also features the British broad arrow, and the large T designating the use of tritium. Powered by Valjoux 7733 17 jewel manual wind movement. The case back is dated 1973. With fixed spring bars, a screw down case back, and recessed pushers and crown. Takes a 20mm one piece fabric or leather strap.

NOTE: The dial and hands of this model while correct are from a later variation of this model and were likely changed during a service of the watch. The oval border surrounding the CWC and the heavy pencil style hands are characteristic of a design change originating in 1982. The Valjoux 7733 movement and 1973 case back date code are consistent with the 1973 production.
