A fine condition example octagonal case SS/18K YG Cartier Santos ref# 2671 complete with original Cartier service card and warranty dated 1990. Featuring a medium sized 32mm diameter case, originally intended for men, with 18K YG bezel secured by screws, with classic gloss white Cartier dial with black printed Roman figures and completed with Santos flat link bracelet with gold screw details and double C logo deployant clasp.
Unlike many battery powered Cartier ladies models, this model is powered by a self winding movement with sweep seconds and date. The octagonal version Santos is a less common version compared to the more familiar square shape, and thereby announces its retro era origins. An attractive alternative version of a retro inspired mid century Cartier classic.
