One of the “tells’ about condition on this model is the case back condition. Case backs often show considerable wear or polishing resulting in worn down or faint numbers. The case back on this example is in especially good condition with distinct die struck numbers and hallmarks. The case back is furthermore is free of any personalized engraving.

Cartier dials can be prone to minor chipping or crackling of the dial surface. Once again, that is not the case on this example.

This example uncharacteristically includes the original inner and outer box, Cartier booklets, and the original Cartier plastic credit card style warranty card, showing a purchase date of 1981 and with all corresponding matching numbers.
