A scarce and exceptionally mint condition man’s Cartier “Tonneau” 18K YG man’s classic model circa 1990s. Featuring a 26 x 46mm curved and tapered classic 1920’s inspired case design. With curved sapphire crystal, stunning original fine guilloche dial, and powered by a fine high grade Frederic Piguet manual wind movement.
This model features an extended curved and tapered art deco era inspired case designed to conform perfectly to the wrist. The case is secured by 4 gold case back screws. With original signed narrow 14mm vintage style pigskin leather strap and Cartier 18K YG tang buckle. The strap is secured by gold screws with oversized domed ends which provide further definition to the tapered case design and strap attachment.
The watch is in extraordinary condition, was just serviced and new crystal replaced by Cartier. Full documenation from Cartier of the service and crystal are included.
A scarce and dramatic vintage style 1990s era homage. Great for either a man or a woman’s wrist.
