Cartier lady’s stainless steel and 18K YG Panther circa 1980’s. Very fine condition pre owned example of the lady’s 22 x 30mm case model. Featuring an original antique white dial with bold Roman figures, 18K YG bezel surrounding the dial, and with 2 rows of gold SS/18K YG bracelet with butterfly deployment clasp. Battery powered quartz movement with cabachon sapphire crown for setting.

The panther was a much sought after classic model for close to two decades until the introduction of the Tank Francaise model, and later the Roadster and Ballon Bleu. The vintage panther models have experienced a huge resurgence in popularity perhaps associated with the re-introduction of a new Panther model with a heavier case and bracelet design. The 2 row 2 tone versions like the current example have been hot sellers!

The current example is probably an early example from the 1990’s. The dial has not turned dark, the case is in very good condition, and the bracelet is in very good condition and not loose or stretched out.
