Cartier lady’s vermeil Tank Louis Must de Cartier, circa 1970s. Featuring a 20.5 x 28mm vermeil (20 micron gold plating over sterling silver) case secured by 4 side case screws. Featuring a lovely condition original “Chinese Red” dial signed Must de Cartier with Cartier double CC logo and with correct and original gilt hand. This early tank model is powered by 17 jewel manual wind Cartier signed movement with cabochon sapphire crown, and not a later battery powered quartz movement.
With unsigned strap and generic tang buckle. This lovely watch has been serviced and hand polished and is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. This is the desirable manual wind model from the 1970’s from an edition of colored dials (black, brown, blue, burgundy, red) without the usual Roman markers but with proper matching gilt hands. It is being offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.
