A large and magnificent Cartier 18K WG ref 3032 Baignoire XL. This is large man’s size 32 x 44mm contemporary Baignoire model with stunning guilloche dial, sapphire crystal, and decorated manual wind caliber 430MC movement with display back. A stunning and standout tour de force design that harkens back to the platinum and white gold Cartier models from the 1920’s and 1930’s.

This is a fine condition example, recently lightly detailed and free of any nicks, dings, or scratches. Fitted with its original Cartier signed black crocodile strap with 18K WG Cartier signed tang buckle. The watch is complete with original Cartier booklet, CD and warranty when purchased new at the Cartier Boutique in Caracas, Venezuela in 2010.

We have not owned such a model before, and have recently seen other examples in yellow gold and rose gold. Hands down the white gold version is the winner in this contest of thoroughbreds. Of course we love yellow and rose gold watches, but this model in white gold, complementing the finely guilloched matte silver dial and black stretched Roman numerals, is just another level of refinement and class!

The watch is suitable as an oversized model for a woman, but we think it really belongs on a medium or large size man’s wrist. Currently the 6 o’clock side of the strap will accommodate a 6 1/2- 6 3/4″ wrist, but we have on order from Cartier a full size man’s strap. Must be seen and tried on in person to see how special this model is!
