A scarce version Bulova A-11 WW II era U.S. Military issue watch with a sterling silver case and distinctive “radial” dial with prominent minute indexes and inner printed numerals. Many watches were built specifically for use in WWII but potentially none more iconic than the A-11. Typically these military models have steel casebacks, and either base metal or chromium plated bezels. This model has the steel screw down back with military designations, but the case is all sterling silver. The silver case has has oxidized and that is why it appears black in the photos.

With distinctive matte black original dial with radium arabic figure, sword style hands, and original paint sweep seconds hand.There are several small imperfections on the dial surface, but perhaps expected from a watch that went to battle and was not worn to the office.

Powered by the Bulova 10AK CSH movement with hacking sweep seconds. With sterling silver crown and dust cover protecting the movement from moisture and dust.

Fitted with period olive green military issue fabric strap.  The movement has been fully serviced and is offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.
