Early Breitling Navitimer AOPA stainless steel Valjoux 72 pre ref# 806 oversize early aviator chronograph circa 1955. Very early example with beaded bezel, original glossy black dial with black registers with full arabic indexes, with raised gold AOPA logo and signed Navitimer. This is the elusive first generation model powered by Valjoux 72 3 registers manual wind movement, case serial# 844,xxx without 806 caseback reference #, and with worn original signed Breitling crown. This example is further distinguished by having been purchased in Southern California from Ronald Reagan’s helicopter pilot. Unfortunately without written documentation, but additional details available on request. Recently serviced and in excellent mechanical operation condition.
