Offering an early and especially fine condition midsize 29mm stainless steel and 18K YG rectangular case Audemars Piguet Royal Oak model circa 1970s. The classic iconic Gerald Genta design Audemars Piguet Royal Oak ref # 6009SA is a sporty size model, with a very sharp condition case and bracelet, and an original gray waffle texture dial with gold indexes and hands and applied AP logo at 12 o’clock. The watch operates with a battery powered quartz movement.

This is an early example of this model with important dial characteristics. The Audemars Piguet signature is below, and not above the center post, and there is no “QUARTZ” printed on the dial. The B serial # of the case back designates production to 1976-1979.

The watch and the bracelet are in especially fine condition with sharp edge bezel,and tight, factory finish and unpolished bracelet. The bracelet features a fold over deployant clasp and will fit a 6 5/8″” wrist. The watch is in excellent condition in every respect with tight bracelet, clean case and case back, and secure fold over deployant clasp.
