Featuring a fabulous looking classic Audemars Piguet ref 5548 18K rose gold Perpetual Calendar with strap and deployant circa 1980’s. This is the first series 36mm sculpted stepped case model, with bright white gloss dial featuring day, date, month, and phases of the moon. With excellent condition black crocodile strap, rose gold AP logo deployant buckle, complete with watch tool and spare 18K rose gold tang buckle.
Includes the outer box, numerous original booklets, but no original warranty card nor the inner box. Also included is considerable documentation of purchase in 1995 at Sotheby’s, and with service records from Audemars, the most recent from 2017.
The case back is engraved with case #C44776 and serial #2861. Please see many attached photos documenting the condition. Perfect dial, excellent case with expected evidence of careful wear in the last 3 decades, without dings, nicks, scratches or abrasions.
