While we are generally not big fans of watches that have been abused, neglected, or mistreated, we are definitely fans of dials with character, often referred to as tropical dials where the dial color has faded considerably, or actually changed color. Such dials when they are attractive, and of course that is entirely subjective, can lend a great vintage character and charm to a vintage watch, rendering it quite unique, and a prized and distinctive piece. We currently have a number of tropical dial beauties in our shop, and they’re not all Rolexes.
