Cartier man’s 18K gold Tank Louis ref 2441 circa 2010+. Featuring very desirable newer “water resistant” style, larger 25 X 34mm case secured by 4 side, and 8 case back screws. Featuring a classic silvered and finely grained original dial signed Cartier with black Roman numerals and blued steel hands and signed SWISS MADE.

This Tank Louis is powered by a Cartier quartz movement, and features the hours and minutes and date. We prefer this model to an earlier version with center sweep seconds, which we find distracting and unnecessarily busy. With beautifully executed knurled cabochon sapphire crown. The strap is 1 mm wider 19mm, tapering to 18mm commensurate with the slightly larger case, This example if offered with a used genuine crocodile Cartier signed strap, with Cartier 18K YG tang buckle.

In excellent operating condition, lightly detailed and free of nicks, scratches or dings. A stunning, classic design with a more robust and larger execution than the earlier men’s models.

NOTE: Compared to the Tank Solo, the Tank Louis is all 18K gold and has more classic styling, slightly thicker and rounder sides. The Tank Solo has a more modern and lower profile, is a bit more sleek in its lines, and has a steel case back.
