Featuring a 38 x 46mm tonneau shaped case with screw down O & W diver’s logo case back and wide elapsed time red and blue “Pepsi” bezel. With domed acrylic crystal. With stunning, no issues, original matte black dial with tritium lume 24 hour indexes and numerals and original distinctive tritium lume broad arrow hour hand and sword shaped minute hand. With bright colored rotating 24 hour “Pepsi” red and blue bi-directional bezel for setting the 2nd time zone.

This model is ref 2824 named “Early Bird” reportedly named for the communications satellite of the same name which tracked the Gemini 6A and 7 manned space crafts which simultaneously oribited the earth in 1965. The “Early Bird” model was marketed to US GI’s and was a popular model with troops during the Vietnam War.
