A great looking richly patina’d transitional model Rolex Submariner ref# 16800 with original inner and outer box and original Rolex warrantee papers. 9.6 million serial number, circa 1986, the last year of the 16800 reference. Featuring a no magnifier sapphire crystal, quick set caliber 3035 movement, and unidirectional elapsed time bezel with some slight scratches around the 55 hash mark. Featuring a beautiful glossy black SWISS-T<25 dial with white gold luminous surrounds, patina’d tritium indexes and matching tritium hands.

While the dial is stunning, the real standout to us is the unpolished condition of the 40mm stainless steel case. With strong crown guards and sharply beveled lugs, this 16800 was absolutely worn and enjoyed, but the care was taken to ensure the Rolex factory finishing lived on.
